We are an over-subscribed, vibrant and inclusive school serving young people and their families primarily from the heart of Cleethorpes. Our ethos is simple. We want our students to be caring. To care about themselves and those around them. We want them to be curious, to foster a real love for learning all the way through their five years with us. Furthermore, we want them to be creative, to be solution focused and have the ability to think carefully about how to make things work. All of this is done as part of one big community – the Cleethorpes Community.
About Us
Cleethorpes Academy is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive of approximately 850 students. The Academy opened in September 2010 to serve the local Cleethorpes area and was sponsored by Tollbar Academy, an outstanding secondary school.
KS3 & KS4 Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to provide a broad and balanced education which raises aspirations and prepares students for adult and working life in the 21st century. Our curriculum has been produced to ensure the physical, mental, spiritual, cultural and intellectual health needs of the students are met. This is achieved by providing a varied curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, we believe these are the foundations to enable our students to succeed.
